Teddy Raber was an unbelievable linebacker for Truckee’s league winning season of 1982 which end in a bitter loss to bishop manogue in Reno to lose the state title.
Ted was all-state, all-league and played in the 1983 Sertoma Classic on the UNR football field along with four other Truckee teammates.
Ted had outstanding insticts for the ball and was a truly fierce hitter, a tackling machine. On offense, Ted also played a ver solid offensive right guard.

Thanks Rex, 1982 needs work. There are many guys that are worth mentioning that I haven’t yet. Tommy Hall was on that team as well as others worth mentioning. I am in touch with Robert Buccieri who was a RB on the 1982 team. He is working on a write up. This project is only beginning. I had the privilege of coaching Teddy’s nephews Robert and Cory. Both of them were LB’s too and darn good.
