WHERE ARE THEY NOW

ALUMNI ….WOLVERINES STILL PLAYING

COLE HARRITY

Cole Harrity has been a big playmaker at the division I level and he’s had a great career.

Cole has been a journeyman when it comes to college football.  After a very impressive senior season at Truckee where he was the Offensive MVP of North and a 1st Team All-State RB, he headed to Weber State in Utah.  He would then transfer to Golden West with Wulfe Retzlaff. However, Cole would need to get surgery on his shoulder and would take another season off.  Eventually he would land at Saddleback JC in So-Cal where he would put together a phenomenal freshman season.  He was then recruited by New Mexico State where he continued his success catching the football.  This last offseason he hit the transfer portal and ended up in New York at the University of Buffalo where  he caught 12 passes for 137 yards and TD.  Cole makes the best out of each target and touch that he gets.  Harrity got to experience a Bowl win in 2022 when the Bulls beat Georgia Southern 23-21 in the Camellia Bowl.  Cole is currently working on a Master’s degree in Real Estate.  As of right now Cole has one more season of eligibility. (more to come on stats).

MARCUS BELLON

Marcus celebrates his big Punt Return TD with his teammates. They took down the Broncos 27-10.

After being the MVP of the State of Nevada in 2018, Marcus was recruited by Southern Utah.  It was not a good fit for Marcus so he headed to Santa Barbara City college where he was an absolute Dude.  He joined coach Weed who is currently coaching and the match was perfect.  Marcus put up huge stats on the offense but earned his exposure on special teams.  he was recruited by UTEP to specifically return punts and Marcus has excelled in his first season at UTEP.  He currently has 15 punt returns for 96 yards and had a huge TD vs the Boise State Broncos that he took to the house for at 48 yard TD.  Marcus has worked his way into the offense a little as well this season catching 4 balls for 73 yards and a TD.  Marcus has two more seasons of eligibility and he should be more involved in the offense heading into the 2023 season.  Marcus is majoring in Business and he will graduate on time.

 JACKSON SKAFF

Jackson Skaff finished his junior season at Division III Pugent Sound this year.  He was a special teams guys for the Loggers recording 17 career tackles.  Jackson will return the fall of 2023 to finish out his career.  Jackson is majoring in Exercise Science/Pre Med.

 GEORGE SKAFF

George Skaff his freshman season at Clairemont

George put together a very strong Varsity career at Truckee recording 182 career tackles for the Wolverines.  He went on to Division III Clairemont University in Southern California.  In his freshman season he claimed the Scout Team Player of Year award which does not surprise me.  George has always been a tremendous worker and prepared himself well.  Unfortunately he did not get as many snaps this season as he wanted as he suffered an ankle injury early in the season.  He did end the season with several tackles and two of them for loss.  He’ll be putting in the work to earn a starting position heading into his junior year.

COLE EICHELE

Coles Eichele knocked the helmet off a Monterey Bay player in the Bowl game in 2021. He had two dominate seasons at Feather River.

Cole just finished out another great season at Feather River Junior College and he will be heading to the next level.  Eichele had 32 tackles and two interceptions this past season.  Feather River is undefeated in 2022 and they are playing in the American Championship Bowl. In 2021 Cole was a 1st team All Conference Free-Safety. (stay tuned for more news)

I think it would be interesting to add what graduates from Truckee’s football team are achieving in their lives – as leaders, parents, spouses, etc. Many have gone on to lead productive, successful lives in all aspects.

      Rex,

That’s what this page was originally going to be but quite frankly this whole project has swallowed me up. It is going to take everything I got to get all the football teams represented up to date. It’s a big undertaking. My goal is to finish Chasing Tradition through the 90’s this year and start hammering out the 2000’s. In the mean time I try to update the record book and keep a couple current things up, like our schedule and things happening within the past season or 2. I almost need one other person to take these types of request on so I can focus on completing something. But I agree whole heartily that it would be cool to chase down x-players and get updates on where are they now.

Thank You! We look forward to the new touchstone and bringing a new Tradition to walking down the stairs for coach.
